Nope. Not tonight. Decided to write a bit instead about some things.

First off, going to shoot two fashion runway shows tomorrow and figured out how to make a little improvised slingshot camera strap. You take a normal camera strap, and fasten one of the straps to the other straps forming a loop. This will be the actual sling. The last strap you fasten the normal way to the left (or right if you fancy) strap-loop on the camera. this means that the entire camera will hang form one side, tilting it nicely to one side when not used keeping it out of the way. When you shoot, you grab it and just bring it straight up to the eyes and shoot. Very fast and when you dont need it, drop it and it swings down to the side again just like a normal slingshot strap. Sure the professional ones are better, and slightly more agile but this was a good trick when you dont have one =) And its done in 2 minutes with the normal camera strap that came with your camera.

Second, finally decided to invest in a digital back for my Mamiya. Now just waiting for my invoices to be paid so i can actually pay for it and get it delivered aswell. I honestly believe this will be the better path for me to take rather than investing in a new 5D mk2 or whatever comes on the 17.th (canon’s big announcement). The actual quality of the images wont increase much even though i shoot with L lenses, not compared to the ammount of quality increase with even an older digital back.
