Let me start with saying, i shoot digital. A lot! Thats my main business since the clients wants the stuff fast. However, i do love shooting film. And for some projects where time isn’t of the essence but rather a certain feel or quality is, then film is awesome to use.

Take the holga’s down below. Sure, you could shoot that with any digital camera, spend a while in photoshop to get the right grain, right shifts in focus and vignetting. And that while might actually be quite a long while to get it absolutely right.

Compare that to buying a holga for £30, load some film into it and snap away. All you need is the knowhow to shoot film. And funnily enough, it’s not that hard :D
